must be a citizen of the Philippines, able to read and write Filipino, English, or the local dialect, and must not have been convicted by final judgment of any crime involving moral turpitude.

a qualified voter of the Katipunan ng Kabataan, a resident of the barangay for not less than six (6) months immediately preceding the day of the elections,

at least eighteen (18) years but not more than twenty-four (24) years of age on the day of the elections,

must not be related within the second civil degree of consanguinity or affinity to any incumbent elected national official or to any incumbent elected regional, provincial, city, municipal, or barangay official, in the locality where he or she seeks to be elected,

Call and preside over all meetings of the Sangguniang Kabataan, and vote in case of a tie, and assemblies of the Katipunan ng Kabataan

Take the lead in the formulation of the Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan and in the preparation and implementation of the Annual Barangay Youth Investment Program;

Ensure the implementation of policies, programs and projects as contained in the Annual Barangay Youth Investment Programs, in coordination with the Sangguniang Barangay and the M/CYDC

Keep all the records of the Katipunan ng Kabataan, including the list of its qualified members, youth policies, studies, research and registry of youth and youth-serving organizations in the barangay, if any

Promulgate resolutions necessary to carry out the objectives of the youth in the barangay in accordance with the Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan and the applicable provisions of this Act

Render report during the regular Katipunan ng Kabataan assembly on the financial status of the Sangguniang Kabataan

Certify to the availability of the Sangguniang Kabataan funds whenever necessary;

Collect and receive contributions, monies, materials, and all other resources intended for the Sangguniang Kabataan and the Katipunan ng Kabataan;

By 2030, improve water quality by reducing pollution, eliminating dumping and minimizing release of hazardous chemicals and materials, halving the proportion of untreated wastewater and substantially increasing recycling and safe reuse globally

By 2030, substantially increase water-use efficiency across all sectors and ensure sustainable withdrawals and supply of freshwater to address water scarcity and substantially reduce the number of people suffering from water scarcity

By 2030, prevent and significantly reduce marine pollution of all kinds, in particular from land-based activities, including marine debris and nutrient pollution

By 2030, implement integrated water resources management at all levels, including through transboundary cooperation as appropriate

By 2030, reduce at least by half the proportion of men, women and children of all ages living in poverty in all its dimensions according to national definitions

Implement nationally appropriate social protection systems and measures for all, including floors, and by 2030 achieve substantial coverage of the poor and the vulnerable

By 2030, end all forms of malnutrition, including the internationally agreed targets on stunting and wasting in children under 5 years of age, and address the nutritional needs of adolescent girls etc

By 2030, build the resilience of the poor and those in vulnerable situations and reduce their exposure and vulnerability to climate-related extreme events and other economic, social and environmental shocks
