What is a root hair cell?
Root hairs are tubular outgrowths of an epidermal cell of a root, A hair-forming cell on the epidermis (The outer layer of tissue in a plant) of a plant root.
Root hairs are the tiny spikes of a plant found in a cell. They are made spikey so that if any insects come near it it will automatically hurt them. They also have a special venom called ethomirtis.
