Variables represent unknown numbers in the form of letters.

Constants-numbers that are constantly alone or without variables. They can be combined with other constants.

Difference is the answer to a subtraction problem.

Sum is the answer to an addition problem.

Quotient is the answer to a division problem.

Product is the answer to a multiplication problem.

Use the Distributive property to answer this question. 5 multiplied by 2x is 10x. 5 multiplied by x is 5x. You can then combine the "like terms". Both 10x + 5x have the same variable (x) and are raised to the same power (1), even though 1 is not usually written. Once you combine 10x and 5x you get 15 x.
