The young woman looked down at her long, white dress. She felt like a princess. She and the others stood in the hall waiting for the doors to open. She heard the cue and began walking down the long aisle while everyone stood up and watched her.
WHAT IS THE EVENT?
The waves crashed against the beach. Thunder cracked and lightning lit the sky. The wind howled and made the trees bend over sideways. People put shutters up on their windows, bought supplies and were ready for what was to come.
WHAT WERE PEOPLE EXPECTING?
The cat stretches and yawns. She strolls over to her favorite spot. The sun shines in and makes it very warm. Sometimes the fresh air blows in on her. She climbs up into her soft bed and watches the birds and squirrels. Then she goes to sleep.
WHERE IS THE CAT'S FAVORITE SPOT?
The decision was difficult. She was the only one that would know and no one would ever find out. It would guarantee her a good grade, but was it really worth it? Would she really feel proud for passing that way?
WHAT WAS HER STRUGGLE?
People giggled and pointed at her feet. She didn't understand why until she looked down and realized she wore two different shoes. Her face turned red and her cheeks got really hot. She wanted to run and hide but knew that would make it worse.
HOW WAS THE GIRL FEELING?
The boy found it in the middle of the road on his way home from school. It was very tiny so he picked it up. He took it home, put it in a sealed container and fed it for several weeks. It quickly grew to be a few feet long.
WHAT DID THE BOY FIND?
The room was a mess! Pots and pans were piled up in the sink. Drawers and cabinets were flung open. Chocolate chips and flour covered the countertop. It was a mess for sure, but the house smelled amazing.
WHY WAS THE ROOM A MESS?
The girl had finally saved up enough money to buy it. It was something that she always wanted. She could picture herself gliding down the road pedaling effortlessly with her hair blowing with the breeze.
