Planners: Students will need to sign out in their planner to go to the bathroom and or get a drink of water. They will also need it to write any homework assignments for Art in it.

Why is it necessary for me to stay in my assigned seat in Art class?
To practice social distancing in line with the CDC.
So Ms. Seifert can make sure to meet with each student during the class to check for understanding and their progress in their Art.
To encourage Respect, Responsibility, and Safety during class.
So Ms. Seifert can keep track of materials and see who is not using them correctly= referral if needed.
To take attendance accurately.

What does it mean if Ms. Seifert says Level 1 or Level 2 or she rings the bell.
Level 1= Silence! Stop talking, sit down and listen carefully. Same with if you hear her ring the bell.
Level 2= Quiet Whispers/voices- conversations with students at your table.
Students know what is expected of them in keeping the noise level down to promote learning, focus and being responsible, respectful and safe.

Why is no food allowed in the Art room?
Some students and the teacher have food allergies.
We do not want to get food on our Artwork it would ruin it.
We do not want bugs or mice in the Art room- these things would not only eat left over food, but destroy artwork and many supplies like paper.
It is a school rule that the only food students are to have is in the Cafeteria.

If I don't finish an art project or assignment...
I get an A!
I need to meet with Miss Seifert and ask if I can take it home to finish or stay after school one day to finish ASAP.
If I chose to not finish the assignment, I loose points on it.
If I have been wasting class time and not following expectations, I might not be given extra time to finish the assignment and will be graded on what I have done.

To use the sink...
I am not using it when Ms. Seifert is talking.
I have already cleaned up my work area and put artwork away. I will make sure the sink never gets clogged.
I am not getting water on the floor and if I do I will use the mop or towels to dry off the floor and put up the caution wet floor sign to keep myself and everyone safe.
I will not lift the hose above the sink, I will clean my supplies with soap and water and put them on the drying table.

To store my 2 Dimensional artwork and small 3 Dimensional artwork made out of paper.
It is on the white shelving unit. Each bin is labeled Art___ and the period.
