Part A: In what direction do you think this novel will take in Part Two?
Atticus will remarry. The first part was to show the Finch children's lives without a mother and the second part will show the improvement (and struggles) a maternal figure can make.
The second part of the this book will show Scout and Jem as adults reminiscing on the impact their father made in their lives after he has passed away.
The story will now revolve around Atticus's trial through the eyes of Scout.
Part B: What leads you to believe this is what will happen in Part Two of the novel?
I think a wife for Atticus was foreshadowed through Mrs. Dubose saying it was a shame that he did not remarry.
There has been too much mention of this mysterious trial in the last few chapters for it not to be a focal point of this story.
This story is told in flashback. I can't imagine it entirely revolves around a few years of Jem and Scout's childhood.
What event best reflects the respect Scout has for Atticus?

Mrs. Dubose is comparable to the witch in the story Hansel and Gretel.
This is not childlike at all.
"Your father's right. Mockingbirds don't do one thing but make music for us to enjoy. They don't eat up people's gardens, don't nest in corncribs, they don't do one thing but sing their hearts out for us. That's why it's a sin to kill a mockingbird."

What clues or explanations best describe how you figured out the definition of solitary?
I don't think Scout is afraid of the Radley Place as Jem is. I think she would find comfort in her bravery.
