Expressing Likes & Dislikes
Use 好き or 嫌い after stating the thing that is liked or disliked and adding particle が
[noun] が 好き・嫌い です。
like/dislike a [noun].
嫌い is a lot more forceful. We might say "not like" unless we are really trying to drive a point home, which is typically culturally inappropriate
Make Negative Using じゃない

Conversational Flow with じゃあ
じゃあ roughly means "Well then,"
